The Phoenix's rising from the dead.


"Dead souls
screaming in vain, trying to unravel from being entwined together [...]
A great escape from being chaind to cruelty,
never-ending torture and the harrowing solitude? Failed.

Coming out from that a powerful bird
made out of the fire,
leaving with strokes of his spreaded wings all torture behind.

Rising into sun light, closer to heaven, closer to god.
Closer than these pathetic creatures ever can be."

She deserves to be credited highly! With her absolutly amazing phoenix drawing she basically inspired me to do this - without her art I would never have been able to create something like this.

She asked me to draw up a tattoo for her back - so I did.
All in all it tooks more than a month to finish it... The tree drove me cracy and the wings brought much trouble along, haha.
But well, here it is - let's see whether Tina will like it or not...

Truly nice. I love how you show the details of the picture like the wings and the dead souls, it's really is beautiful. And the tree seems to be melting..... or is just me?
